The Full Story Behind Honeybee Ministries
I was born in a small, humble village in Eastern Uganda to God-fearing parents who instilled in us the values of faith, hard work, and perseverance. Life was simple, but our home was rich in love.
Our family was blessed by the kindness of Christian missionaries, including the wonderful Madam Debra McBride. They not only supported our education but also nurtured our spirits, showing us the profound impact of selfless love. It was their example of community, unity, and compassion that later inspired the name **Honeybee Ministries**—a symbol of working together to create something sweet and life-giving.
With their support, I pursued my dreams and graduated as a Mechanical Engineer. I was building a career and a future I was proud of, but life had an unexpected and difficult path in store for me.
A severe back problem emerged, turning my world upside down. The pain was relentless, leading to a major surgery and a long, grueling recovery. This period plunged me into a deep depression, and in my despair, I fell into addiction. I lost my career, my savings, and the life I had worked so hard to build. I felt completely broken, lost, and without hope.
But it was in that very brokenness that God met me. He picked me up and gave me a new, beautiful purpose. He showed me that my pain was not the end of my story but the beginning of a new chapter—one dedicated to serving others who feel lost in the dark.
He gave me a mission: to bring hope to children with special needs, to mentor vulnerable youths who have lost their way, and to support families fractured by pain, loss, or sudden, life-altering change.
Honeybee Ministries is my testimony, and it is the story of everyone who deserves to know they can rise again.
To nurture, empower, and restore hope in communities especially among children with special needs and vulnerable groups through mentorship, life skills, spiritual growth, and education support.
To build a generation that is resilient, skilled, and purpose-driven by offering mentorship, educational support, and hands-on training for holistic transformation with a special focus on supporting children with special needs and those who are vulnerable through inclusive education, mentorship and skilling programs
To empower communities with words of hope and development leaving the legacy that influences future generations.
